Chris Raethke
CEO, Notiv

Chris Raethke is the CEO and co-founder of Notiv. For more than 20 years, he has been an entrepreneur, designer, and technology leader. In 2018, Chris and Iain launched Notiv, an AI-based product thinking company that enables smart collaboration around meetings. Notiv started out of frustration from not having an ability to capture, store and recall information in the same way we access a word document. In 2012, Chris co-founded Bugcrowd Inc, the pioneer of crowdsourced security testing for web, mobile, source code, and client-side applications. As Co-founder and CTO, he led Bugcrowd’s engineering, product, and machine learning teams and set the technical vision for the company. Chris’s technical and business leadership was instrumental in building Bugcrowd into one of the largest security web services in the world. Arne is the CEO and Founder of Parcel Perform, the leading carrier-independent delivery experience platform for e-commerce merchants and their end-customers covering 600+ logistics carriers worldwide.

Before founding Parcel Perform, Arne was Vice President for Business Development at DHL eCommerce Asia Pacific, where he led the development of e-commerce logistics products tailored for online marketplaces and merchants as well as market entries for DHL eCommerce throughout Asia. Han-Ley Tang

Pradeep Dubey

Intel Senior Fellow, Director of the AI & Parallel Computing Lab, Intel Corporation

Pradeep K. Dubey is an Intel Senior Fellow and director of the Parallel Computing Lab, a part of the Intel Labs organization at Intel Corporation. He leads a team of top researchers focused on state-of-the-art research in parallel computing. Dubey and his team are responsible for defining computer architectures that can efficiently handle emerging machine learning/artificial intelligence, traditional HPC applications for data-centric computing environments, and deriving product differentiation opportunities for Intel’s CPU and GPU processing platforms. Dubey previously worked at IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Center. Dubey has made significant contributions to the design, architecture and application performance of various microprocessors, including the IBM Power PC, the Intel386™, Intel486™, Intel® Pentium®, and Intel Xeon® processors. He holds 36 patents and has published more than 100 peer-reviewed technical papers. In 2012, Dubey was honored with an Intel Achievement Award for breakthroughs in parallel computing research, and was honored with Outstanding Electrical and Computer Engineer Award from Purdue University in 2014. Dubey holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Purdue University. He is also a Fellow of IEEE.

Dr. Bernard Leong is currently the Head of AI/ML ASEAN for Amazon Web Services. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Airbus Aerial Asia Pacific and also the head of Post Office Network & Digital Services in Singapore Post where he spearheaded their successful digital transformation with the omni-channel SAM platform, POPStation and first drone delivery flight to Pulau Ubin. While not in his corporate hat, he’s a connector to the Southeast Asia entrepreneurial ecosystem as an entrepreneur in residence in INSEAD Business School. Antje is a Senior Developer Advocate for AI and Machine Learning at AWS based in Düsseldorf, Germany. She is passionate about helping developers leverage Big Data, Container and Kubernetes platforms in the context of AI and Machine Learning.

Kate Burleigh

Kate Burleigh is Country Manager for Amazon Alexa and Devices in Australia and New Zealand. Throughout her career she has been driving transformative consumer technology, from her previous role as Intel Australia’s Managing Director where she led the move from desktops to laptops, and the rise of Wi-Fi connectivity, to Amazon where she is now leading a new frontier for the industry with voice technology.

David Engel
Fintech BDM, Amazon Web Services

David is a business development & channel partnerships executive, growth strategist, fintech expert, entrepreneur, and start-up advisor, with deep experience in SaaS, API & online marketplace businesses.

David currently is Fintech BDM for Amazon Web Services, helping to accelerate the growth of the ANZ Fintech ecosystem & the fintechs within it.

Prior to that, he was Commercial Director for the Australian and New Zealand markets for Verrency, a fintech platform that allows cards issuers to innovate faster, and at scale.

He also served as Country Manager for i2c, a Silicon-Valley based cloud payments processor. At i2c, David was responsible for building a pipeline across Enterprise, mid-tier financial service companies & fintechs, as well as developing and executing the account-based marketing strategy.

David also launched and grew the start-up, Doshii – a hospitality and retail API platform – through two rounds of investment.

Alex Casalboni

Alex is deeply passionate about web technologies and music. He has been building web products and helping other builders learn from his experience since 2011. His coding love spreads across the Python and the JavaScript communities, and he’s been contributing to open-source projects such as AWS Lambda Power Tuning.

He co-organizes the serverless meetup in Milan, as well as ServerlessDays Milan (previously JeffConf).

As a Sr. Developer Advocate, Alex often speaks at technical conferences across the world, supports developer communities and helps them build applications in the cloud. He is particularly interested in serverless architectures, machine learning, and data analytics.

Chris Fregly is a Developer Advocate focused on AI and Machine Learning at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Chris shares knowledge with fellow developers and data scientists through his Advanced Kubeflow AI meetup and regularly speaks at AI and ML conferences across the globe.

Previously, Chris was a Founder at PipelineAI where he worked with many startups and enterprises to deploy machine learning pipelines using many open source and AWS products including Kubeflow, Amazon EKS, and Amazon SageMaker.

Andrew Vranjes
Head – Data Sciences, Delhivery

Kabir heads the Data Sciences vertical at Delhivery, India’s largest ecommerce logistics provider. His work involves building machine learning and optimisation solutions for applications in the field of maps, location intelligence, network design and route optimisation. Kabir comes with years of academic experience in the field of optimisation algorithms. He completed his PhD in the area of Scheduling Optimisation in 2013, following which he worked as a lecturer of Operational Research for several years in the UK. His research was awarded as the best PhD by the British OR Society and was later published as a book by Springer Publications.

Anna Gong
CEO & Founder, Perx Technologies

Ms Anna Gong has over 20 years of global technology experience in enterprise software (5 startups and 3 MNCs). She ran global business development and established the Asia Pacific business for Wily Technology which was later acquired by CA Technologies in 2006 for about US$400M. Anna was later promoted to Vice President at CA, the youngest female leader to have led the Cloud, Virtualisation & Service Automation business units for Asia Pacific & Japan. She was also Vice President of Channel Sales for Asia Pacific at enterprise software company Infor. Listed in Top 100 Women in Tech 2020 in Singapore and winner of the Singapore Women Entrepreneur Awards 2017, Anna, a TedX speaker, was also featured in the LinkedIn CEO Power Profiles 2017. Anna is a frequent keynote speaker on leadership, technology, digital transformation and entrepreneurship, for large corporates and global conferences such as C2 Montreal, SaaStock Dublin, InnovFest Unbound, RISE, and European Business Leaders’ Convention.

Colette Grgic

I’m a passionate participant and supporter of the startup and innovation ecosystem. I’ve started my own, ran startups for others, and have led landmark corporate innovation programs and ventures. I now look after growth of the startup ecosystem at AWS, leading an excellent team passionate about enabling founders to start and successfully scale cutting edge startups in Australia and New Zealand.

Before joining AWS, I was Chief Innovation Officer at BlueChilli. Through our venture studio and accelerator programs, we worked with entrepreneurs and corporate innovators to build 147 new tech startups. During my six years, I created BlueChilli’s innovation consulting practice, drove the company’s business transformation and our international expansions, and led the APAC sales, marketing & programs teams.

Hian Goh is a Founding Partner of Openspace Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on Technology, Media and Internet companies in South East Asia.

Openspace Ventures manages over US$350 million across 3 funds. Hian was the Founder of the Asian Food Channel (AFC), a 24 Hour food and lifestyle Pay TV network, which was acquired by Scripps Networks in 2013.

Hian began his career as an investment banker and was a founding member of the Salomon Smith Barney Technology investment banking practice in Asia, (now part of Citigroup) in 1999.

Hian graduated with a degree in Jurisprudence (Law) from Trinity College, Oxford, and an MBA from INSEAD. He is also a Reserve Officer with the Singapore Navy and is a Board Member of the Singapore Science Centre.
 

David Lemphers

Dave Lemphers is an accomplished engineer, data scientist, entrepreneur, inventor, and executive.

He is currently the Head of Technology for Startups at Amazon Web Services and serves as CTO in Residence at Techstars.

Prior to this he was a Principal Data Scientist at Microsoft, a four time founder and author of 3 US patents on Artificial Intelligence.

Olivier Klein
Lead Technologist Asia-Pacific – Amazon Web Services

Olivier draws on two decades of expertise in Internet technologies, IT architectures, and software engineering to help organizations of all sizes, from start-ups to large enterprises, apply cloud computing technologies, solve business problems, and create innovative and data driven business models. Olivier has been working for AWS across Asia-Pacific and Europe to help customers implement architectural best practices and be successful in their digital transformation journey. He also advises how emerging technologies in the Artificial Intelligence (AI), ML, robotics and IoT space can help create new products, make existing processes more efficient and leverage new engagement channels for end-consumers. Prior to his AWS time, Olivier ran the digital product strategy for an American multinational publishing and education company across Asia and led engineering and R&D efforts to build a virtualised web service platform for a Luxembourgish Internet Service Provider pre-cloud era. Myunghwan Kim

I am the Head of Service Development at Mesh Korea, known for its brand Vroong, which provides 5PL BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) service regarding IT & Logistics in South Korea. Under the Service Development Org., Data Science, Engineering, Platform, and Product Dept. aim to innovate the logistics industry through data and AI-driven platform.

Previously, I was a Staff Software Engineer at LinkedIn, as the tech lead of Growth AI team in Data/AI org. I worked on building AI/recommendation system with respect to the growth in LinkedIn (such as People You May Know (PYMK)), data analysis over user behaviors and social networking, solving graph problems, and conducting relevant academic research (7 papers & 1 Summit from LinkedIn).

I received my PhD degree from Stanford University in 2014 under the supervision of Jure Leskovec. My main research topic was about modeling social networks that requires applying advanced machine learning into graph data. Other research topic includes human mobility, topic modeling, and big data. I also completed MS in Statistics at Stanford University.

Chee How Lim

A passionate entrepreneur, Chee How’s key responsibilities at Tapway are strategic planning and execution, partnerships, investor relations and overall management of the organization.

Futurist – Cinnamon AI

Dr. Hajime Hotta is an AI technologist, an early-stage startup investor, and a serial entrepreneur. He received Ph. D. with a study of neural networks in 2008. He is a founder and Futurist of a Series-C stage company, Cinnamon AI, which provides AI-backed products to help big corporates digitally transforming the business processes with continuous machine-learned enhancement.
